I am so sorry I havent written any posts today. I have just been flat out looking after the kids and really havent had time. Anyway, here are some photos from my day. We spent most of the day at the river which was great fun, even though I am sunburnt now.
I was diagnosed with Anorexia almost three years ago and have been battling it ever since. On my blog I share different experiences that I have had when I was really sick, as well as the progress I am now making as I try to recover. Since creating my blog I have never felt more motivated to recover and I hope that through writing about my recovery, I will be able to inspire people with eating disorders to fight for a happier and healthier life.

Awesome afternoon at the river
Today it was really hot so when my cousin Jemma finished school, I took her and another girl to the nearby swimming hole to go swimming. After being a sook and taking ages to actually get in the water, eventually I got right in and the water was beautiful.
I felt good being in my bikinis and didnt care that I didnt look skinny. I just kept reminding myself that I am happy and healthy and that is all that matters. We all had a great time and agreed that we should do it again, really soon.
I went and had a BBQ tea with Jemma and her family tonight too which was really nice. I get along with Jemmas family all really well, even her brother so I love visiting them. Jemma is really more like a sister to me then a cousin so I kind of think of her family as mine too.
Although I am not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow, I am looking forward to tomorrow night as that is when my best friend Jozzy is arriving. I havent seen her for about a month so we have lots to catch up on.

sunbaking with my sister
Today I took my sister to the river. We intended to swim but just sat by the water listening to music and chatting instead which was still nice. Even though it was sunny, there was a cool breeze which meant that it wasnt really warm enough for swimming. By the time we got home though, the cold breeze dropped out so it was really warm. I decided to make the most of the sun and laid outside on the sun lounge in my bikinis.
It felt strange putting my bikinis on as the last time I wore those same bikinis, I was about 12 kilos lighter so I obviously looked very different. I didnt hate the way I looked though and even though it was just Amy and I, I felt comfortable enough to take some pictures and just be myself. I know that I dont look super skinny in my bikini anymore but I do look healthy and I honestly think that is even better! :)

Best summer yet
Even though it is only the second month of spring, the weather has been particularly hot over the last week or so. Although I have been working a lot so haven't been able to take full advantage of the beautiful weather, I have still really enjoyed walking Tess in the mornings and evenings and the warm weather really has made me start to feel excited for summer.
Summer has always been my favourite season however I haven't really enjoye one since back in 2011, before I developed my eating disorder. The last few summers I have been far too anorexic to do all of the great things that I think summer is all about.
I have missed out on lots of things over the last few years like heading to the beach with my family, going for a swim, eating icecream, drinking with friends, going to barbeques and spending time outdoors. Now that I am healthy and feel like my old self again, I am so excited for this summer and plan to make it my best Summer yet.
I have already made plans to go camping with friends, go swimming at the beach and river with my sister, go out and meet new people and do some partying too. I am also hoping to get to a music festival of some kind. Of course I will still have to work, but on my days off and on weekends I plan to get out and truly enjoy the sunshine.

A great day
I wasn't really expecting to do anything today however it ended up being a really great day. My friend from Hobart rang me this morning and said she was keen to come u to Swansea to visit me which I was excited about. I took Tess for a long walk before she arrived and then we both went down to the beach once she arrived as it was a relly nice day.
We sat and chatted for ages in the sun and then we had some lunch at the bakery. We both got a delicious meat and salad roll and then headed to my parents house. Only my dad and little sister were home so I introduced them both to my friend and we stayed for a little visit. Amy came back to my place after that and we went to the beach. We had our bathers on so waded in the water even though the water was freezing cold.
It was so nice to finally have some nice weather that we didn't want to be inside so we stayed outside practically all afternoon. We got an icecream before walking back to my place where we stayed until about 5pm. In that time we decided to book our airline tickets to Brisbane which is where our cruise is departing from. We took Amy back home and ended up staying for tea.
We had roast lamb and vegetables which was delicious and I really enjoyed not having to cook. Once the thought of eating wit hthe rest of my family like that would have terrified me but tonight I honestly just enjoyed it. And it made it even better that my friend was there too. We sayed until quite late and had some apple crumble and icecream for dessert, just before we left.
I was so glad hat Jocelyn decided to stay the night tonight as it really has made this weekend a really great one. Luckily she doesnt have to start work until 12:00 tomorrow so she has plenty of time to drive back to Hobart and get ready for work. I am so glad that I met Jocelyn as she is such a nice girl and such good company.
I better get to sleep now so that I am not too tired tomorrow when I start another long week of work. I even have to work next weekend so wont have much time for a break at all. Goodnight everyone. I hope your weekend has been wonderful and that your week ahead is just as great. x

shopping day with mum
When we got to town I bought some new clothes for work as I needed warmer clothes now that winter is approaching. I didn't buy any new casual clothes but I did spoil myself and buy a few new television series. I got season 9 and 10 of Greys anatomy as well as season 1 of Love Child which is an Australian series that came out last year that I didn't get to watch on tv. I also got a case for my new tablet which is a huge relief as I was so worried I was going to drop it and damage it (I am one of the clumsiest people I know).
I am feeling full of energy now that I am eating so much more and I am also feeling really hot (as in temperature wise) all the time too which is really weird for me. Usually I am rugged up with heaps of layers on but today I didn't even wear a jacket and needed to put the air conditioning on inside the car even though it was only like 15 degrees. Does anyone know if feeling really warm is a normal side effect of refeeding? It isn't a huge problem or anything (in fact it's kind of good as it means I don't get as cold ;)) but I was just curious if it is actually due to the extra food I am eating or if it is purely just coincidece.
I always think that the worst part of going away shopping for the day is coming home and having to unpack it all but finally I have finished unpacking. In the two hours since I got home I have also managed to cook tea, eat tea, wash up, walk Tess, tidy the house, have a shower and write this post so I have been very busy. I am glad that I can just lay back and relax for the rest of the night now. I intend to get myself some dessert and start watching season 9 of greys anatomy. I can't decide on hot Apple pie and icecream or lemon pudding and icecream, what would you chose if you were me? Then I plan to get an early night as I feel exhausted and need to work in the morning. I hope that everone will have/ is having/ has had a fantastic day (this time difference thing is really confusing haha)!
