I was diagnosed with Anorexia almost three years ago and have been battling it ever since. On my blog I share different experiences that I have had when I was really sick, as well as the progress I am now making as I try to recover. Since creating my blog I have never felt more motivated to recover and I hope that through writing about my recovery, I will be able to inspire people with eating disorders to fight for a happier and healthier life.

10 Random facts about me
1. I love wearing onesies and they are my favourite item of clothing! They are so comfortable and warm and if it was up to me, I would wear one all day, everyday. My favourite onesie is my fluffy pink snoopy onesie!
2. I use to love swimming and trained all the time but I had to give it up as my collar bone began dislocating every time I lifted my arm above my head. I went to a few specialists and they had never seen anything like it before. My brother also has the same rare condition so it is obviously genetic. Now I have given up swimming, my collar bone doesn't dislocate anywhere near as often but on average it would still happen a few times per day.
3. I have never travelled outside of Australia. I have done lots of travelling within Australia but have never gone overseas. I don't mind that I haven't left Australia yet as I feel as though it is important for you to explore what your own country has to offer before exploring other countries. I would definetely like to travel overseas in the future though. I am interested in travellling to Europe although it is very expensive.
4. While I have good vision when reading things that are close to me, from a distance I am as blind as a bat. Without my glasses I cant even watch tv clearly, read the time on a clock that is up on the wall, recognise people until they are right next to me or read road signs while driving.
5. I really want to have kids when I am older and this is another reason I want to make a full recovery from my Anorexia. If for any reason I couldn't have kids naturally, I have already decided that I would either adopt or look for another option as I want to have them so badly. My favourite girls name is Olivia Grace and my favourite boys name is Riley Michael (Michael is my dads name)
6. Growing up I was a huge tomboy as I would spend all my free time with my brothers on the farm. Ienjoyed activities like fishing, motor bike riding, shooting and even kicking the football with my brothers (FYI Aussie rules football is typically a sport played by boys).
7. Despite being a tomboy when I was growing up, I absolutely love the colour pink. If I ever see anything Pink, I instantly want it weather I need it or not. I have a pink keyboard, pink cutlery, pink kitchen/bathroom scales, a pink milkshake maker, Pink bed sheets, a pink iron. Even my can opener and chopping board is pink. Anyway, I think you get the picture, I like pink ;).
8. Something I really cant stand is bubblegum. I hate the smell of it and watching people chew on it. I feel like vomiting when I see people blowing bubbles or 'playing' with their bubblegum. I don't know where this dislike came from because I remember chewing bubblegum when I was a really little kid but now I really can't stand it. I would actually go as far as saying I have a real phobia of it.
9. Although I don't seem to have a lot of time for reading these days, one of my favourite authors is Jodi Picoult. I think her writing is truly amazing and I love the style she writes in. My favourite books that she has written are My Sisters Keeper, handle with Care and the Pact. I love the fact that you can never predict the ending of her stories. Even when you are familiar with her writing and know something unexpeccted will happen, you still can't guess how her stories will end.
10. Unlike most girls, I do not dream about having a big white wedding. In fact, I have very little interest in ever getting married at all. The only reason I would get married is if my future boyfriend really wanted to. I honestly think that getting married is just a waste of money. I may change my mind but this is just how I feel now. I think another reason I dont want to get married is because I have always hated getting dressed up and being the centre of attention.
